Sorry for the belated reply for I did not have the time to check my e-mail while I was in Hong Kong.

My mother departed this world after I arrived in Hong Kong on August 2.  She is in the hand of God and Jesus.  I am also at peace with myself for I have done my best for her and for my relatives before and after her passage.

I have made all the funeral arrangements and returned to Canada on last Tuesday.  I will return to Hong Kong at the end of this week to attend the memorial and funeral services.

Thanks for your thoughts and offer for help.  Now my mother is free of pain and is enjoying her everlasting life in the kingdom of God.

Memorial Service for my mother, LEE Sam Yee, will be held at:

Po Fuk Memorial Home in Tai Wai

at 8:00 pm

on Monday, August 21, 2000

Funeral Service will be held at:

Po Fuk Memorial Home in Tai Wai

at 12:00 noon

on Tuesday, August 22, 2000

Best regards,

Jim
P.S. I have not received a reply from Dollarhost as yet and will contact them by phone in the next couple of days.  I will let you know after I have switched the plan for kamching.com

Dear Jim,

We were sorry to hear the sad news about your mother's passing away. However, we rejoice that your mother no longer has to suffer from all the pains on earth, and is  now with God, in peace and joy.

Just had a telephone conversation with Wai Sum. She, Ka Lun and I will go to the memorial service (date to be decided). Will let Ka Yun know as well, after her return to Hong Kong on 18th.

If you don't object, I shall upload your email tommorrow to let more Kamching brothers/sisters know about this and remember your mother.

May God give you extra wisdom and energy to handle this important matter, amid your busy life.

Charles and Hannah

Dear all,

Thank you for your condolence.  I lost both of my parents now for my father died when I was
relatively young while I was in Canada.  That event did not hit me as hard as this one.  It was
like a bad dream for over two months.  I still recalled vividly that I went to Australia and had a
wonderful time with my Kamching brothers cruising the treacherous Sydney Harbour on a
windy winter day.  I returned to Hong Kong to pick up my mother at the airport and we
travelled to Canada together to attend my son's graduation in Law.  She was not feeling well
then but insisted on making the arduous journey to see her grandson's graduation for she
was proud of his achievement.  She was here in Canada when Alan was just one year old.
Now he is a practising lawyer and she was a proud grandmother.

She felt ill after the graduation and has to cut short her stay in Canada and returned to Hong
Kong.  After her arrival in Hong Kong, she was in and out of the hospital for four or five times
until she was confirmed with terminal lung cancer.  She suffered during the ordeal but she
has all the love from her children and grandchildren.  The support from all of us was
overwhelming.  More importantly, she finally accepted Jesus as her Saviour after going to
churches sporadically in both North America and Hong Kong over the years.

It's extremely busy for me taking care of businesses and my mother during the last two
months.  The whole event has not sunk in as yet.  I did say goodbye to my mother at her
death bed but have to hold back my tears so that I can comfort my sisters who probably
have the deepest feeling for my mother.

As I journey across the Pacific this coming Friday to come back to Hong Kong to see my
mother for the last time, she will be remembered for her accomplishments in this life.  She
will bless all of us from the Kingdom of God!

  Best regards,

  Jim Chim
