Jim,
Where are you, Jim? Haven't heard from you for a long time.
Corinna has started her company in providing web based learning
content for the SMILE project of Polytech and the "HK Education City"
web project of ED. I am invited to write for Chinese history and language
and need to set up my home page in the next 2 weeks.
Do you think it's appropriate to host such content under my personal
directory? My aim is to give the KCA web site some substantial and
frequently updated content so as to achieve better exposure to the
public. Otherwise I'll register a new domain such as
www.classical-chinese.com
I am willing to pay to upgrade the web hosting plan from basic($5)
to
pro ($25).

Man Keung,
I am in Vancouver for the past week and will be heading back to Hong
Kong at the end this week.
The main reasons that I have been silent for the last few weeks were
due to my work load as well as having a family emergency. My mother has
been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in Hong Kong. She has been
in the hospital for the last month and a half. It has been quite stressful
for me having to deal with my Mom's illness and my consulting businesses
on both sides of the Pacific. I came back to Canada a week ago to
take care of business at this end. I am heading back to Hong Kong
on Friday and will make the necessary arrangements to transfer my Mom from
the hospital to a hospice care facility for terminally ill patients.
I have told Wai Sum the news before I come back from Hong Kong.
I have also asked KK to help me to put my mother in a Hospice facility.
Regards,
Jim

Charles,
Thank you very much for your concern and I am doing the best I
can under the circumstances. Life has to and must go on no matter how
tragic the event is. My mother was baptized at
the hospital a couple weeks ago and she will find peace in her
next life. I am going to be back to Hong Kong next week
to see my mother and will give you a call if I need any assistance.
Regards, Jim
